Recently, I was asked to conduct a demonstration at the Kennedy Douglas Center for the Arts here in Florence, AL.

A mother at my home church asked me to draw her a portrait of her daughter and her son when they were one year old, even though they were born years apart.
So, I got out my paper, pencils, and my artistic license and began to draw. I was able to put them together with a little imagination, given that the hand on the chair had to come straight from imagination.

This is one that I was requested to paint for an exhibit of memorabilia for George Lindsey from the Andy Griffith Show, along with other movies and shows. He is a graduate of the University of North Alabama, and I had the honor of painting this for the unveiling ceremony. It was pretty cool to meet someone I had grown up watching on TV, and he was pretty cool. This one is on display in Norton Auditorium at UNA.
